I am a total baking rookie but this recipe sounded easy enough to tackle. It was kind of a disaster. I couldn't find instant yeast & had to use a packet of regular that I let sit in the warm water for ten minutes. My dough was so sticky that when I tried to roll it up, it stuck to itself & all the filling gooshed out the top. I was working on a floured surface with floured hands, but didn't want to add extra flour to the dough in case in screwed up the chemistry. I cut the "rolls," placed them in a greased 13x9 pan and let them rise. I spooned some if the filling over the top since it had fallen out.They didn't really rise, even after 45 min. I had given up at this point & baked them anyway. Absolutely delicious!! Even after all of my mistakes, these were amazing. They fluffed up in the oven & were gooey & soft. Yay!
