Delicious. As with all mayo-type potato salads, be careful not to overcook the potatoes - like I did.

An all time family favorite - with one change. I eliminate the vinegar and milk, and add granulated garlic (or garlic powder) to taste. We're not fond of vinegar in our potato salad, and the additional garlic flavor makes the dish! I've also made this dish using regular potatoes - peeled, and finely chopped yellow onions in place of green onions. It's very good! I usually top with a sprinkling of paprika, parsley flakes and halved, hard-boiled eggs for presentation. Everyone asks for the recipe!

This was great. I had a little problem with getting the potatoes just right, but the sauce was delicious. I will definitely make this again with cooking my potatoes longer. Thanks for the recipe!!!!

These were good. I did add a bit of chopped green olives and some oregano for flavor.

As written, I thought this potato salad was a little bland. I let it sit overnight to give the flavors a chance to blend but wound up having to punch it up a little with the addition of more salt and pepper and a little mustard before taking it to a party. It's a good starter recipe though, and I'm glad I tried it.

Very good! I had to cook potatoes approx. 25-30 mins. Omitted eggs. At first, I thought mayonnaise mixture was too tart, but after pouring it over potatoes, I added a dash of mustard and a few drops of dill pickle juice. Salad was still not cold after 2 hours, so I would recommend allowing more than 2 hours for chilling.

This potato salad was wonderful. It's the first potato salad I've ever been successful at making and it was a huge hit at our big family BBQ. My father-in-law, who isn't supposed to eat one of the ingredients due to allergies couldn't even keep his fork out of it. They were all asking for the recipe. Thank you so much for this "no fail" potato salad recipe that was such a great hit!!!!

This is absolutely the best potato salad I have ever eaten! Incredible! I modified it ever so slightly, adding only a splash of milk and vinegar rather than the full amount called for. I also used half sour cream and half mayo. I also added celery salt, onion powder, parsley, and garlic powder and used only egg whites. It actually tasted like a homemade ranch dressing, so good!!! I took it to my family reunion and there were no leftovers. I will never again make another potato salad--thanks for an amazing recipe!!!!!

Really good all-around recipe. I would reccomend cubing the potatoes first, and then seasoning the warm, cooked potatoes with vinegar, S & P. (it absorbs flavor well at this point) Good porportions of mayo mixture to potatoes.

Very good potato salad, I used red onion instead of celery. Next time I will probably add some mustard.

Thank you DWAGNER! I have been searching for a great potato salad recipe; everyone in my finicky family loved it. I tweaked the original recipe a bit;red wine vinegar instead of white, red onion instead of green. I added 1/2 cup of sliced black olives, two tbsp of dill relish, 1 tbsp yellow mustard, doubled the amount of pepper and (seasoned) salt, and added tsp each of paprika and basil.

If what you want is old fashioned potato salad then this is the recipe for you. I made just a couple changes. I used apple cider vinegar and I added 1 tablespoon yellow mustard. I took off whatever potato skin came off easily and left the rest.

It was ok. I didn't have red potatoes, so I used chef potatoes. It was ok in taste. My kids didn't like it either, so I'll give you 3 stars...perhaps I should of bought the red potatoes..maybe it will come out different.

This potato salad was okay. Not great, but not bad. I can't quite put my finger on what it was we didn't like. We ate it that night but I don't intend to make it again.
