Excellent! All the richness of a cream soup without the heavy cream. I used another reviewer's idea of adding a grated carrot for extra nutrition and color. Also, since I didn't have any ham, before sauteing the onion, celery mixture, I fried four pieces of bacon in my stock pan, poured off the grease, and continued with the recipe, adding the cooked, crumbled bacon with the peas at the end.

Great tasting soup! I followed the exact recipe, except I used fresh thyme, instead of dried. Fabulous flavor! Will definitely make this again! I love how it was so thick, yet there wasn't any heavy cream in it!

Wow, great soup! I used chicken bouillon & water in place of chicken broth, and actually used equivalent to 2 cans, because the potatoes weren't covered with enough liquid for cooking. I also added a ham bone to the potatoes to add extra flavor while cooking. At the end, I used 1/2 cup skim milk with the flour, and then 1 cup fat-free half and half to make it very creamy! I also added a sprinkle of garlic salt when I was done for a little extra zest. Wonderful recipe and easy to make adjustments to your taste!

This was really yummy! I added a shredded peeled carrot, a second can of broth, 6 potatoes, used olive oil rather than butter, omitted the salt and doubled the rosemary since I didn't have thyme. Will make this again - thank you for posting!

This is really great soup. I added more potatoes than the recipe calls for so I needed to add another can of soup also. Easy and delicious -- definitely a keeper!

I followed the recipe exactly, and it was delicious! The next time I make it, I may increase the flour and milk combination to make it a touch more thicker. But believe me, it was fine with the ingredients given.
