I liked the recipe a lot - my husband likes regular chili better. I did not make this recipe in the oven. I browned the beef and onion then drained and added the rest of the ingredients and simmered on the stove (also omitted the celery). The chedar soup was totally not needed. It would have been just as good with some shredded cheddar cheese.

Different, but good. I'll make it again. I used white queso dip mixed with sour cream and served it with crushed doritos. Thanks for sharing!

This would be great as a dip for a party. I cooked it on the stove top instead of the oven & cooked the taco seasoning with the beef. It was quicker & still easy. I added cilantro on top. Next time I'm going to leave out the celery it didnt go with it, & I'm going to use Queso dip instead of the cheese soup.

This is great guilty comfort food! Obviously not for dieters under any circumstance, but you can save a few million fat calories like I did by browning the meat and draining it before you add it to the rest - and then you're left with only 1.8 billion calories. I couldn't find nacho cheese soup - do they even still make it? - so I used jarred salsa con queso, and added sour cream and chopped tomato. Killer. Thanks!
