I have been making a recipe like this one for quite some time now. We use shredded chicken thighs, and cream of mushroom instead. And instead of using diced tomatoes, use a can of Rotel. It adds a little something extra. Also we use 4-blend mexican cheeses. It always turns out awesome! Don't care for it with the cream of chicken though, definitely need to use cream of mushroom.

I have made a variation of this dish & my family loves it..I use a bag of shredded Mexican cheese & omit the garlic salt since the chips are salty enough.

Okay but could be very good with some changes/additions. I hate to say it, but there was too much cheese. More salsa next time, and maybe some corn. If you have garlic powder, use that instead. With the cheese, soup and *itos, it was pretty salty.

This was very good and very easy. I followed the recipe pretty closely, but I used salsa instead of the diced tomatoes. That and some hot sauce on the chicken made the recipe spicey, which is what I was looking for. The only thing that I would do differently is cut down on the tortilla chips. I used a bag of Doritos and it was way too much. My family loved it though and I'll definitely make it again.

Made this for dinner tonight. It was quite good. I didn't measure anything and I used shredded cheddar instead of American. And I used Spicy Nacho Doritos since we had some on hand. The only thing I would do a little differently next time is spice it up a bit more...but like I said, I didn't measure, so it may be spicier if you follow the directions exactly. The picky husband liked it too.

Hey, y'all! I loved this recipe! I also added an extra can of Rotel to give it the consistency I was looking for. Great for potluck dinners at church because it goes so far!

My husband wanted mexican for supper tonight and I wanted to do something easy so this was a big hit. I thought it was a little heavy with all the cheese so next time I will add an extra can of diced tomatoes. Overall it was a big hit with the husband and 3 kids.

My family loved this dish. It's very easy to make. My husband and I put hot sauce over ours to make it a little spicer.
