I didn't really care for this as a casserole...it was okay eaten with chips as a dip. Shredded chicken may have worked better??

I thought this turned out pretty well. I did make a few changes however. I used 2 5 oz chicken breasts, so a bit more chicken than the recipe called for. I also used 1 can of hot Rotel tomatoes in place of the green chilis and jalepenos just because of taste preference. I also used more cheese, and still thought it could be cheesier. I think the next time I make this I will not cube the chicken, but rather just keep the breasts whole and placed into the casserole, and then serve with mexican rice and refried beans. Another thought that I see here is to serve it wrapped in tortillas, or over tortilla chips like nachos which I may also try. It was a good, easy recipe with lots of variations that can be done.

This would have been good on tortillas. It was a great casserole but lacked that meal feeling. Just felt like it needed to be on chips or in tortillas. It was like serving enchilada filling. The taste was very good though.

This recipe was so yummy! I thought the idea seemed pretty weird, but it's one of my favorites now. I used all cheddar instead of some mozzarella.

Quick and Easy Recipe. Brought this to a family gathering and everyone loved it. I changed the proportions of the recipe a small bit... I used two chicken breast, one can on 98% fat free cream of chicken, one small can of diced green chilies, a grab bag of Doritos, and everything else as the recipe calls for. I also did not add the mushroom or jalapenos. Very yummy!

This was very good, my family enjoyed it. I really decreased the fat, but it didn't taste like it was missing anything. I used chicken breasts, baked doritos, reduced fat cream of mushroom soup, FF sour cream, 1% milk, and reduced the amount of cheese. This kids especially enjoyed the orange color!!!

This meal was ok my husband really liked it though a little to blah for me. And I doubled the recipe also and added some Tapatio hot sauce to it and liked it much better.

this recipe met all of my requirements - adaptable and versatile, quick and easy, and yummy!! i really changed this, partly out of necessity (what i had) and partly due to preference. i doubled it, using a full can of soup, added a cup of tomato sauce, took out the mushrooms, used a mexican blend shredded cheese, and used part "spicy nacho" doritos and part "cool ranch", again due to what i happened to have. it turned out deliciously! i served it over brown rice, and am glad i did...i think alone it doesn't have enough texture to be a full meal. thank you!

As recommended by other reviewers, I added a bit more flavor by using 1/2 can of diced tomatoes with chili spices, added a chopped onion, and replaced the mushrooms with olives. Next time, I might do all that and put the mushrooms in for a different flavor and texture.

I was really disappointed in this recipe. It looked interesting but when it was finished I felt like it needed something more, such as rice or a tortilla. Interesting dish. However, my 2 year old loved it!

I doubled the recipe and very glad that I did because there was none left. Half a jalapeno was just right for the little ones, could of been more for the bigger ones:) Thanks for the recipe, it was different and yet still yummy!

My husband & I both loved this recipe! I did substitute some things in it, I cooked my chicken breast first in the oven b/c I am very picky with chicken. I substituted the mushrooms for black olives & I added taco seasoning & a lot more jalapenos & a little more cheese to the recipe. It was delicious. I will definitely keep this recipe on file.
