Use a good outdoor grill, and really get that thing smoking hot. Roll the dough out really thin. the nann will be thin, bubbly, and soft in the middle and crackly at the edges.

Since I first used this recipe, I've tried to make other kinds of breads several times, but by the time the dough has risen, I've resorted to making naan again, because it's so easy and so very tasty.

for some reason I could not get this to work, I don't think my grill gets hot enough. They just turned hard and didn't brown. After the first few didn't work I rolled the rest and baked it as a regular loaf of bread; it turned out delicious so I guess it's a good recipe if you manage to cook it properly

Delicious! Went great with chicken curry. Don't pre-roll naan and put between wax paper like I did--it sticks!

My first ever attempt at Naan and this was amongst the best bread I have ever had. I used a very hot skillet rather than the grill and it was fantastic. I strongly recommend this recipe, even for beginners!
