this was very good. I added a little cornstarch mixture to make the sauce a little thicker.

This is a really great way to prepare chops. The only thing i changed was i cut out the onion as they upset my hubby's stomach and just used onion salt instead.

This was very tender but the flavor was just okay. The flavor is very dependent on which steak seasoning, beer, and bbq sauce you use. My combo was just okay. Will try again with different seasoning because we loved the ease of the technique and the tender result.

This turned out great! I used a salt free herb rub in place of the steak seasonings and paired it with garlic salt and onion powder. Browned the pork chops in a tablespoon of EVOO. I used 1 can of miller lite because my husband couldn't part with any of the darker beers we had! We didn't have much BBQ sauce left, I'd say about 1/4 cup of sweet baby rays, plus about 2-3 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce and 1/4 cup of apple cidar vinegar. I left it simmer for about 2 hours with a vidalia onion. I made a zucchini risotto to pair with it. It was EXCELLENT!

My kids don't care for pork, but I cook it anyway for a change of pace. They loved this recipe! I used good ole Bud-lite & most of a bottle of Sweet Rays Barb-beque. I will definitely make this one again!

This recipe is pretty good but it is not outstanding. I used Budweiser and KC BBQ sauce. I think maybe next time I'll cook them in a crock pot so that I can let them cook for 6hrs instead of 2hrs. My 3 year old did eat almost a whole pork chop, so I gave it 3 Stars!! Thanks for the recipe!

This was pretty good, I used bud light because that was all we had on hand. Added a bit of Worcestershire sauce based on previous reviews and made my Montreal Steak Seasoning from scratch since I don't have any on hand from a recipe on chow.com The pork chops were not as tender as I would like, but I think it was the cut and not the recipe. Next time I will try thick bone-in chops.

Taste was a 3.5, ease was a 10. The sauce was a bit much, but that was more my taste. (not a big fan of barbeque sauce) This was a great time saver and will definitely be used again. It is a great alternative for pork.

Great recipe! Easy to make. I expidited the cooking process by simmering just below medium temperature on the stove. I didn't have a skillet cover (lost in one of the many moves) so I used tin-foil. Works great! Prep time took less than five minutes. Quick. Easy. Tastes great!!

This was delicious! I am not sure what the other reviewer was talking about the smell? The aroma was mouthwatering! My husband who is very picky rated it a "keeper" and my kids loved it. I used a dry steak seasoning, added olive oil and minced garlic when I browned the chops. I also used a Heineken beer. One more thing...had some apple and sliced that up and added when I added the onion. Thanks for sharing this great dish!
