1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 (4 pound) beef pot roast
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
3 large potatoes, quartered
3 carrots, peeled and cut into 2-inch pieces
1 onion, sliced
1/3 cup vinegar
1/3 cup water
great flavor i used a 2 pound roast instead tho. A little dry but this was my first attempt at pot roast so an over all success :)
