Great basic chili. After reading other reviews, I added a can of Ro*tel tomatoes along with the stewed tomatoes. Also added half a can of Herdez hot salsa verde. It turned out just great. Thanks for such a good, basic chili!

This chili is easy to make. I did add Tabasco to mine and husband's bowl for a spicy kick. The only thing I did not like, well it seems pretty plain. I prefer chili with a more individualized taste, but I will keep working with this one. It's a good place to start.

This chili has a great flavor! I followed the suggestions of 2 cans beans and 4 cans diced tomatoes (1 can S&W with chilis) instead of stewed. This is a good chili for people who like their chili simple to make and simple in ingredients. Giving it 5 stars for the combo of easy to make and delicious.

Excellent starter recipe. I actually increased this recipe x4 for a chili fundraiser this week. I used diced tomatoes, prepared chopped garlic, and red and white kidney beans for colour, as well as added some cumin. I also made this recipe as a vegetarian version. Exactly the base recipe I was looking for. Thank you.
