Made this 4 times at Christmas - teacher gifts, White Elephant parties, Christmas for my family - ALWAYS turned out great. This is a new Christmas tradition at my house!

I have made this recipe twice now, and it is amazing!! The first time, I made the recipe exactly as listed, but I wanted more caramel, so the second time, I used four quarts of popcorn (about two air popped batches), and the recipe is perfect!

I have made this recipe several times over the holidays for gift-giving and it has always turned out perfectly! Thanks for a great, easy and delicious recipe! The only note I'd make is to use brand-name popcorn. I tried it once with store-brand, and it wasn't as fluffy as the brand names.

The first time I made this, it tasted burnt, maybe because I cut it in half, without changing the boiling time. Yet, it was still strangely addictive. The second time, I also cut in in half (I used 1 bag of microwave popcorn both times) it tasted better. I never had problems with coating the corn and there was tons of caramel. My advice when you put it in a container, seal and and put in on a high shelf or you may eat it all in one sitting. For relatively easy cleanup, put a lot of butter on the cookie sheet (or whatever you use) and get the pans and dishes in hot water as soon as you're done using them. This was great, I'll make this oft. Thanx!

This is fabulous. I didn't change a thing. I like the idea of using a Turkey roasting pan, as another reviewer suggested, because it does make a mess when you try to stir it.

Five Stars....Made this popcorn last night, can't stop eating it! Butter definitely makes this great. I also used other reviewers tips and set my oven temp to 200. Very easy clean up, used a buttered dutch oven. The best popcorn recipe ever. No need for speciality or gourmet popcorn anymore, I can create it in my own kitchen.

I was disappointed with this recipe. The caramel didn't cover all of the popcorn. It needs some pizzaz.

This was exceptional. I have been making it for holiday gifts for the last 3 years and it never fails to be a favorite. A few things I have learned: 1. 3 regular sized bags of microwave popcorn is the perfect amount 2. After popping corn and before adding caramel, take the time to remove the uncooked kernels. Save on dentist bills! 3. The 15 minute intervals of stirring do a great job of distributing the caramel evenly. 4. Hide finished caramel corn from family if you want to use it for gifts or they will eat it all up before you give it away!
