I followed the recipe exactly. This is a Goldmine recipe. A keeper for sure. I will be making big batches of this from now on EVERY Christmas! Thanks for sharing Anita Louise. I am very thankful for everyone that shares recipes on this website. Instead of keeping their prize recipes a secret they are kind enough to share them. Thanks again.

Perfect! I used only a half cup of butter and it turned out great. I used one pan instead of two because I lent my other one to a friend. Two is definitely preferable. Would have been much easier to stir, but it was doable. Also, a warning to other clutzes: the caramel mixture is HOT! I got just a tiny bit on my finger and now I have a huge blister! So be careful!

My favorite caramel corn recipe. Our family doesn't bake it. We just let it cool on waxpaper and it makes the perfect soft caramel corn.

This is just like my recipe that I've been using for years. Use butter, not margarine for better flavor!

Amazing caramel corn! I have never made it before, but I'll make it again and will definitely use this recipe! We made this for a carnival sponsored by our church, so we didn't put any peanuts in due to possible peanut allergies from our guests. We also chose to use butter, because that is what we had on hand. Unfortunately.... I'm thinking we should have made more because we probably ate 1/2 a batch to "test it"!!! :) Thanks for this awesome recipe! Oh... and clean up was surprisingly easy! With our greased pans and spoons, it all washed up with just soap and hot water!

I made this caramel corn for the first time several years ago and it is fantastic! It was very easy to make- even if you've never made anything like this before. I found popping my own popcorn on the stove to be the easiest (and cheapest way) to get plain popcorn for the caramel corn. I make sure none of the kernels go into the caramel corn. This year I hope to find empty popcorn tins to store large amounts of the caramel corn in.

If you add nuts, do it in the beginning when you pour the caramel sauce over the popcorn while the sauce is still thin. If you add nuts halfway through, the sauce will be too thick and won't coat the nuts.

this is easy to make, easy to clean up and delicious. In a house full of teen-agers who have frequent visitors, it doesn't stand a chance! The kids look for more whenever they come over. The only change I have made is to cut the vanilla in half, because all of the corn syrup in our stores has a lot of vanilla in it and it gets a bit overpowering for our tastes. Thank you!

My family and friends LOVE this caramel corn! It is fantastic. Make sure you leave it in the oven as long as called for. This makes the popcorn crispy and perfect!

This is truly wonderful caramel corn. My husband is a Cracker Jack fanatic and he has informed me that this is much better tasting. He had an opened bag of Cracker Jack in his other hand at the time....

This is excellent; yields a product better than what you can buy, in my family's opinion. I pop the corn using the 'Microwave Popcorn' method found on this site. An easy, wonderful and inexpensive treat!
