This is truly wonderful caramel corn. My husband is a Cracker Jack fanatic and he has informed me that this is much better tasting. He had an opened bag of Cracker Jack in his other hand at the time....

This is excellent; yields a product better than what you can buy, in my family's opinion. I pop the corn using the 'Microwave Popcorn' method found on this site. An easy, wonderful and inexpensive treat!

Yum. Still warm out of the oven! The more it cools, the crunchier it gets. I used butter, it is what I had. Next time I will try margarine, see what difference it makes. To be able to give it five stars, it has to be the best I have ever had. It doesn't beat our downtown candy store's caramel corn. It is excellent though. I will rerate it with the margarine, maybe that is what it is.

I'm eating this popcorn as I type and it is DELICIOUS! I did have to substitute honey for the corn syrup (we don't keep corn syrup in the house), but it was still great.

I have made this recipe twice now, and it is amazing!! The first time, I made the recipe exactly as listed, but I wanted more caramel, so the second time, I used four quarts of popcorn (about two air popped batches), and the recipe is perfect!

I have made this recipe several times over the holidays for gift-giving and it has always turned out perfectly! Thanks for a great, easy and delicious recipe! The only note I'd make is to use brand-name popcorn. I tried it once with store-brand, and it wasn't as fluffy as the brand names.

The first time I made this, it tasted burnt, maybe because I cut it in half, without changing the boiling time. Yet, it was still strangely addictive. The second time, I also cut in in half (I used 1 bag of microwave popcorn both times) it tasted better. I never had problems with coating the corn and there was tons of caramel. My advice when you put it in a container, seal and and put in on a high shelf or you may eat it all in one sitting. For relatively easy cleanup, put a lot of butter on the cookie sheet (or whatever you use) and get the pans and dishes in hot water as soon as you're done using them. This was great, I'll make this oft. Thanx!

This is fabulous. I didn't change a thing. I like the idea of using a Turkey roasting pan, as another reviewer suggested, because it does make a mess when you try to stir it.
