I made these for Christmas, but I used a onion that was very strong and I hadn't notice it untill later. It drowned ou the mustard taste and made the mustard have a bitter taste.My fault. next time I will make sure the onion is mild. My opinion is this would be a great dip if you pay attention to what you are doing. Thanks Liburne, I will try this again and maybe subsitute the caraway seed with some else.

My son adores mustard..He eats it on everything. Unfortunately he hates onions, so I omitted the onion and just used a little onion powder, but he devoured it. He took it to a school party and came back home without even the bowl...
