I have always thought a casserole as a whole one dish meal. Would think it would have some sort of pasta added to it or potato. I will make something like this tonight but will be adding more veggies and some pasta and a little more sopice.

Made this today and changed things up a bit. I added a can of mixed veggies and a layer of shredded cheese underneath the bread crumbs. My wife loved it!

This was really did taste good. As with any casserole, changes can be easily made and I substituted cream of mushroom soup since that's what I had at home. I added a some broccoli and used the wide egg noodles that I had on hand. All in all, it was a hit

Really pretty tasty. I changed things a tiny bit. I added some onions and some garlic powder as well as a bit of cheese on top. I used a package of Jennie-O pre-cooked turkey with gravy cut into chunks. It made everything really easy. Thanks for a good recipe!

Yikes this was good! I followed other poster's suggestions and sauted the vegetables and then added all together. I used baby portabellos, omitted the celery and used a whole can of cream of celery soup. Topped the casserole with cheddar cheese and panko and put it in a casserole dish. Baked until it bubbled, about 25 minutes. It is a keeper!

It was a little bland but very easy to make. An excellent starter recipe. Next time I will add more seasonings and more veggies.

I anticipated a bland flavor from reading other reviews so I made a few revisions. I didnt really measure anything but I added a little more turkey than called for, probably about 2-3 cups. I used cream of celery soup (the whole can) and 1 cup of sour cream. Added fresh garlic, diced green pepper and onion to the mushrooms, celery, carrot mix and sauteed in butter until soft. Mixed everything together with a 1/2 pkg of cooked spaghetti noodles. Spiced it up a bit with paprika, garlic powder, salt, lots of fresh cracked pepper and a tsp of cayenne pepper. Topped the mixture off with 1-2 cups of shredded sharp cheddar cheese, grated parmesan and then panko bread crumbs. Both my husband and I enjoyed the dish, but I would probably add a bit more cayenne pepper next time along with some lemon juice for some extra zip.

BLUF: Pretty darn good. I doubled the recipe and added a small chopped onion. However, since I almost always like more topping, I made four times the topping! A good way to use leftover turkey, and a good way to get veggies into your kid(s).
