Oh MY Gosh! I just got back from Germany and ate this sauce a lot! Have tried a few others ----- too many ingredients! This tasted as close to Germany (my birthplace) and ROCKED!!! I am printing it out now to take to my Son's house to make it again!

I thought this sauce was rich, and yummy. I served it with beef as a new mushroom sauce. Omit the noodles.

Delicious, hearty vegetarian recipe. I was impressed with the rich flavor especially given that no meat broth was used. It was also easy to make.

I needed a sauce recipe to stir into fried onion, peppers and mushrooms that was served over pork schnitzel. This worked very nicely.
