For a burger stew, this was not bad. I did alter it though. I added beef boullion to it and a couple stalks of celery and a wee bit of liquid smoke. Added some corn starch to thicken it as I like thick stews. Left out the mushrooms, only because I didn't happen to have any. I think this would have been really bland if I hadn't of made my changes, but it turned out well! The husband and kid liked it ... so all is well!

This was pretty good after a few modifications. I added; 2 cloves of garlic, celery, and a few chili flakes. I substituted; stew beef instead of hamburger, used 2 cups water and 2 cups beef broth. It also needed some corn starch to thicken it into a stew, or else it's pretty much soup!

Looking at the recipie the concept sounded good, but bland. 1. Added 3 cloves of garlic. 2. I substituted part of the water with a can of beef stock and a 1/2 cup of white wine. 3. I used diced tomatoes instead of stewed tomatoes. 4. I added cornstarch to make is more stew like. In the future instead of using burger I will use stew meat. I also used my crock pot and both my mom and i agree that these changes made this a hearty and tasty stew.

This was decent. I ended up cooking the mushrooms for about 15 minutes and it still didn't seem like enough time. The mushrooms were still firm. Next time I would sautee the mushrooms becore adding them to the soup. Like others said... it is more like soup than stew.

It's a very yummy "soup". I was just a tad disappointed because it's not what the name says. I was looking forward to a "stew" that resembled the flavors of a mushroom burger. It's good, but it's just a vegetable/ground beef soup.

This was very good and easy to make. We put it in a slow cooker and it turned out great.

This is a delicious "soup." If you want a delicious hearty stick-to-your-ribs "stew" add a little watered down cornstarch or flour. I just simmered mine on medium heat for about an hour to get rid of some of the juices. It was perfect for my husband and I.

So yummy!! Being a vegeatarian, i had never made a stew before, but with the advent of Yves Veggie Ground Round (same idea as ground beef) i decided to try this recipe out. I couldn't control myself!! I had three bowls of it before i knew it! I think the only thing i would change is putting a little flour into the water to thicken it up a bit, but otherwise: delicious!! :)
