This was excellent. I used leftovers to make a chicken and wild rice soup from this site, which was excellent as well.

This recipe was nice! A good alteration or two and I would have given it 5 stars, but I agree with the other reviewer that the basil is very overpowering, and I think next time, I will simply omit it. Other than that, great recipe!

I was excited by this recipe because fresh sauteed mushrooms make me happy. The mushrooms were delicious, but I would recommend not baking the mushrooms with the chicken as they don't seem to add anything to the flavor of the chicken and are much better just sauteed and served warm. The almond crust on the chicken was great was much crispier than just a breadcrumb crust. I think I would like to find a way to bring out the almond flavor more; the basil sort of overwhelmed it. Also, next time I would cut out the ceyenne pepper; I don't think it added anything to the recipe. The chicken was delicious served with some wild rice.
