This is the guacamole recipe I make all the time. The canned tomatoes taste just as good, if not better, than regular tomatoes. I double the lime and the hot sauce to get a stronger flavor. Also, I make the guacamole and salsa separately, then mix them together in the end. I recommend using a red onion--I tried it with a regular onion once, and it was too strong.
