Oh. My. God. I'm not a fan of snickerdoodles at all, but my family is so I made these. I have to say - these turned out absolutely amazing. Definitely saving this recipe and making more in the future! It did only make about 24 cookies for me, though.

These are really good cookies. The dough is great to work with. Just be sure to refrigerate it, and it won't get sticky on you. I placed the dough back in the fridge after each sheet was placed in the oven to keep it cool. I baked these at 375 degrees for 8 minutes like a lot of other reviewers did and that was the perfect temperature and time.

Great Snickerdoodle! Made one batch according to the recipe, perfect! Made another batch and added Hershey's Cinnamon Chips...even better!

Delicious but the bottom of my cookies burnt when I baked for 8 mins @ 400 in my electric oven. So next time I'm going to try 375. I'm not giving up! I used 3 tsp of Vietnamese Cinnamon (very sweet smelling) and about 3.5 TBS of white sugar. I agree with other reviewers, they taste better after sitting for a while, I enjoyed them much better the next day.

This is the best snickerdoodle cookie I have ever eaten. I did follow another reviewer and baked it for 8 mins. (I didn't want the edge to crisp) This is definitely going into the recipe box.

I made these cookies last year and they were a big hit. I only changed one thing. I only dipped the top of the cookies into the cinnamon sugar. In my new oven, I baked them for exactly 12 mins and they came out perfect. Making them again this year for the holidays

These cookies are wonderful! I baked them for 8 minutes exactly per the other reviews on here. They kept their shape, and were crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. Melt-in-your-mouth delicious!

Followed the cookie recipe to a T and only altered the sugar/cinnamon coating measurements...i tripled the coating so that each cookie would have lots of sugar/cinnamon on it. They are still chewy 5 days after having baked them! This is the best recipe!

You really must chill the dough before making into balls and rolling in the cinnamon/sugar mixture. The recipe is so buttery that it is hard to work with unless you chill it. These cookies needed a little extra something in the dough, but I can't really pinpoint it--salt maybe. They tasted a little flat. I also increased the cinnamon sugar mixture from 2TBSP to 3TBSP. Lastly, I used a tablespoon to measure out the balls and then flattened them a little with the bottom of a glass.

Now my favorite cookie over chocolate chip! Be very liberal with the cinnamon-sugar coating.

I gave these 5 stars because they are tasty, and they turned out fine. I've never had snickerdoodles before and thought they sounded interesting. These were far to boring for my personal taste.

These were great! I subbed butter for shortening, lemon juice for cream of tartar, doubled the sugar & cinnamon mix and baked for 8 minutes. My cookies turned out more crispy than chewy, but they are certainly delicious!
