This was great. I used cubed stuffing bread and added more veggies, such as 1/4 chopped vidallia onion, 1 celery stalk, 1 green onion, and chopped mushroom. Sometimes I add sliced black olives if I have some. I also make sure to add extra seasoning (even though I buy seasoned bread cubes) such as ground black pepper, basil, and a hint of oregano. It's a big hit and a healthier alternative to pizza. I also eliminate the melted butter, it's not necessary for the bread cubes and it only softens them up.

I wanted to make this the week before thanksgiving just to break away from turkey dishes and it was amazing. I changed only one thing, i used a fresh baguette from the bakery and cubed it instead of other softer breads mentioned. I think it helped to give that good crisp the dish needed. I also cubed the tomatoes so the dish was more fork friendly. Definitely a keeper and one you should try!

Bravo! This recipe is great. I have an abundance of tomatoes this year and have looked through so many recipes. This is a great side for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I made this for breakfast today. My husband and I both enjoyed it. I don't use salt, so used garlic powder, and also added 1/4 tsp of fresh ground black pepper. And doubled the tomatoes. Delicious! Thank you for the post.

Everyone in the family gave this 5 stars. This is a very good recipe!!! I doubled the tomatoes and it was perfect. It took me longer than 15 minutes to prepare. I guess if you already had the bacon cooked, it would be closer to the 15 minutes prep time in the recipe. I definite keeper. Thank you Gloria Bisek for this wonderful dish!!

This was a nice breakfast in the morning. I cut the whole dish into individual portions and froze them, then pulled them out for a quick breakfast. Even straight from the freezer, they microwaved in less than 4 minutes. Great when you want something hot, fast, and healthy for breakfast.

I love this recipe. It was easy to make and everyone loved it! However I did make 2 changes. First, I used vegetarian bacon because I don't eat meat. Second, I cut the tomatoes into little cubes and mixed them in with the other ingredients so that it would be easier to eat.
