This was just "OK". It was dry. I did substitute a few things (paste for tomato sauce-with water, potato chips with italian bread crumbs, ect.) I may make it again, but I will definitely follow the recipe to the T.

I found this recipe to be more time-consuming and complicated than meat loaf should be. I also found it to be very rich. It tasted ok, but I wouldn't bother making it again.

I did not actually try this recipe but Had come up withsomething similar. I chopped up pepperoni and mozzarella cheese, and parmesan cheese and mixed it into the hamburger. Then I put tomato sauce (spaghetti) sauce on top and pepperoni slices and baked it. then topped it with mozzarella and parmesan cheese and baked for a few more minutes. I never really follow recipes one hundred percent, I just add stuff that sounds good.

Yum! Even my picky Fiance, (who only likes his meatloaf the way his momma makes it) Loved this meatloaf!!! He couldn't get enough! I didn't have bread crumbs so i used a cornbread stuffing mix.. Which added lots of flavor. I added fresh onion, celery, and sweet red pepper (that i minced in my mini-chopper/food processor). I formed the meat with my hands instead of roller to make sure i didn't make it wider than the pan. Make sure you really pinch the sides together to seal ends (so the cheese doesn't run out). I covered the meatloaf with tin foil for 45 mins then, uncovered it and added ketchup to the top of meatloaf. Mine turned out perfect. Will make it again!!

This recipe is not that great- I found myself wishing I had used my own meat loaf recipe. When I tried this mozzarella method with my recipe, it was really good! It is, however, a little tricky to roll out, even on wax paper.

This was great, I substituted all the canned or dried ingredients with fresh produce and also sprinkled fresh parmesan on top to finish it off. Worked great with fresh basil and oregano!!

Not as good as I'd hoped. Took forever to roll up in the first place, and then all the cheese leaked out everywhere during baking. Won't be making it again.

This was extremelly good meatloaf. It would have been absolutely perfect If I had used beef. I used moosemeat. My sons and husband loved it but I'm not much for wild meat. But even "I" had to admit it was GOOD! I used 4 cheese italiano mix cheese and substituted bottled pizza sauce for the tomato sauce. GREAT !

My husband and I are living in the UK and chose to make this delicious meatloaf for our own Thanksgiving celebration. We used quite a bit more cheese than the recipe called for as we both really love cheese. We also used tomato paste instead of sauce. It was very, very good! Thanks.

I used very finely diced red onion instead of dried, and I totally forgot about the mushrooms (oops!). The meatloaf was a little dry but had great flavor - it's a shame most of the cheese leaked out during the cooking. I spread a couple of slices of Swiss cheese over the loaf five minutes before it was done. Not bad at all. Thanks!

This was a fun, easy recipe to make, even though it called for use of a rolling pin, which I've never used before to make meat loaf. That part worked out great, the waxed paper made the roll-up really easy. I scaled the recipe down to use only 1 lb. of ground beef, and added just a small amount of diced green pepper to the mix. There were only two of us for dinner, and we cleaned it up. My husband really liked it, will definitely make this again.

I love this recipe. It is easy & fast to make. I removed the minced onions and used a layer of sauteed onions. I also used fresh sliced portobello mushrooms.
