I used shredded white cheddar instead of mozz. and I also whipped up some quick garlic sauce to give it a little more umph. Delicious!

Very good but it does need some kind of spice to flavor it up.

I was surprised by this recipe. Given the simplicity, I really enjoyed the results. I did make a couple of changes: added a little bit of shredded sharp cheddar along with the mozzarella and used a double layer of deli honey ham. It reheated well for lunch the next day, too! Thanks for sharing this easy, tasty recipe!

There is nothing wrong with this recipe. We ate every bite. However, it lacks seasonings. A little real garlic on the inside, and some Italian seasoning and black pepper on top would go a LONG way with this recipe. Thanks for the recipe!

Used pillsbury pizza crust & it turned out perfectly... Substituted plain mozz for 5 cheese shredded blend and brushed the top with butter and then added a small amt of garlic powder and some cilantro... Turned out perfectly! Would make again...

This was really good. I think this would have better with some garlic and a sprinkle of basil or oregano as a base. I put a little too much cheese too close to the edge and as I rolled the cheese shreds didn't stay put and slid over the previously bare edge. So I had to stuff them back in to seal the edge. This is a good base recipe and you could vary this so many ways. I baked this for 35 min at 350* since I was making another one (different flavor) that baked at that temp. Thanks, this was a nice hot lunch and something a little different.

I made this exactly like it said and it was very good. I like that you can add whatever you want to make it your own!

This is a good recipe however use better dough! You can buy dough balls at any grocery store. That way you won't get that chemically dough-in-a-can taste. Any dough will due really. I sometimes make my own in my breadmaker and use it for this or pizza. You can change up the ingredients if you want also. Hard Salami is great in this and I have also used other different Italian meats mixed. Over all, it is a simple, easy recipe. Again, I just suggest buying a pizza dough ball if you don't want to make it yourself. Just cut it the dough ball in half, and roll it as thin as you can. You can get two good stromboli crusts out of one good dough ball. Over all a good, easy stromboli recipe.
