"This is a 'most often requested' recipe - friends and family deliberately let bananas get brown so I'll make them! Great for lunch boxes too."

ground flax seed
ripe bananas, mashed
Very moist. I did add a touch of cinnamon and nutmeg.
They were tasty but very dry for me. I will have to incorporate some apple sauce when I try this recipe again. I liked how this recipe included flax seed.
This is the best banana bread or muffin recipe I have found. I did make one adjustment by adding a tsp of cinnamon.
Definitely a most requested love the "good for you" tip!
Excellent as written. As a quick note, if you're short a banana, you can substitute with a 1/2 C applesauce-it still has a good banana flavor. We didn't notice a difference. :)
Love this recipe! I,too, replaced some of butter with flax seed. I'm not a talented cook and was wondering if I replaced some of the flour with protein powder how I would make the adjustment. I'm not sure what that would do to the consistency. Any advice would be welcomed!!!
I just did it and theyre so good and moist...
Followed it exactly and they were definitely dry. The best bite is when you get a few chocolate chips, if not then it is very bland. I did add a tsp of cinnamon but still just not enough flavor. My kids will gobble them up because of the chocolate, and I do like the flaxseed added! Probably wouldn't make again.
