2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
3/4 cup ranch-style salad dressing
1 (1 pound) loaf unsliced French bread
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
Minced fresh parsley

DIRECTIONS
In a bowl, combine the cheese and salad dressing; set aside. Cut bread in half lengthwise; brush with butter. Place on baking sheets. Broil 4 in. from the heat until golden brown. Spread with cheese mixture. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted. Sprinkle with parsley. Cut into 1-1/2-in. slices.

My husband rated this 5-stars & raved about it during dinner. I had salami that needed to be used, so I added about 1-1/2 cups to the mix, along with some Italian seasoning and garlic powder. Sprinkled parmesan cheese over the top. I didn't use the butter--I just broiled one side before spreading the mixture on the other side. Quick and delicious!
