I used the Pillsbury Grand flaky biscuits. Delicious! The biscuits layers separated a bit, and made it even tastier!

Oh wow this is so good! I used only one package of Grands biscuits and kept the measurements the same. Put everything into a bundt pan, and with the single package of Grands, nothing overflowed at all, and the butter/sugar sauce was just the right amount. I will be making this as often as my sweet tooth requires!

The family RAVED about them! (I used pecans and raisins on the outside layer so those in the family who did not like them could easily eat around them. - Plus it made for a great presentation!)

I live at altitude, so it took a lot longer to cook than the recipe states. And it made a heck of a mess in my oven, so next time I will put something underneath.

This was good, but a little to sweet for my family. I will make again just with about 1/2 the brown sugar and butter mixture.

I scaled the recipe down to use one package of biscuits and serve 5. I baked it in a loaf pan and it worked very well. I prefer monkey bread over cinnamon rolls because it takes a lot less time to make. Thanks for the recipe!

The flavor of this monkey bread recipe is fantastic but absolutely use a bundt pan. Also I've tweaked it by an additional 1/4 cup butter(margarine) and a 1/4 cup brown sugar to increase the amount of caramel. I also pour half the caramel over the bread half way through placing the dough pieces in the pan and then pour the rest of the caramel over the top. This is nice added touch and I've really found if I split the caramel the pieces are more evely covered when the finished product comes out of the oven.

This recipe was so YUMMMY! I made it last night for my kids and husband and we all loved it. I took the advice from other reviewers and used a Bundt pan and added vanilla extract and heavy cream to the sauce. I want to start a tradition with this bread and make it on Christmas mornings. Thanks for the recipe. Definately a keeper!!

I saw an episode of Unwrapped where they showed how monkey bread was made. So I came on here to find a recipe and used this one. I don't have a tube or bundt pan so I used two loaf pans. I skipped the raisins (Not a fan of wrinkly fruit)and used some chopped, lightly salted pecans. WOW! For such a simple recipe it really tastes great!!! I figured the biscuit flavor would be overpowering and easily recognizable as "canned" but it wasn't! I will definately make this again!

I found the recipe to be really too sweet; however, the kids absolutely loved it! I believe the next time I make it, I will make less of it and just tweak the ingrediants. Great recipe for the kids and they actually made it!! Thanks.

Never have made this before, but it was a HUGE hit!!! Added nuts and rasins, used a bundt pan and placed that in a cookie sheet to bake incase there would be any spill over. My kids have a new favorite and it is so easy to make!

I made this for my Bunco party. It was such a huge hit. Actually it didn't even make it to the dessert table. The girls were picking at it all night and sadly by the time dessert came around the monkey bread was gone and nobody had room for any of the other desserts. =] Everyone went home with the recipe!! Thanks for the post!!

I used four 7.5 oz biscuit tubes. I used butter instead of margarine, after the sauce boiled for a minute, I added a tablespoon of vanilla then about 2-3 tablespoons of heavy cream, It turned out great!!

I misread and put the sugar/cinnamon and brown sugar in the bag. So mine was extra sweet...but yummy!! Served this as a dessert for a breakfast dinner.
