Good recipe! I followed the instructions of some of the other reviewers and used 1t each of mustard powder, salt, and pepper. I doubled the cheddar to 2 cups and used a really sharp one. I also used more pasta. The leftovers were delicious and I'll definitely make it again.

Good but I double the bread crumbs and use Panko instead of regular, but really good otherwise

My family loved this macaroni and cheese. It was very creamy and very easy to make. The crunch on top was an added bonus. I followed the recipe as written, using sharp cheddar cheese. Next time, I will add more bread crumbs.

WOW. This recipe is AMAZING! I served this as a side dish for dinner tonight, and it was practically gone in no time! I do have a few recommendations; 1. double, or even triple the bread crumb topping. I tripled it and it turned out beautifully golden brown and bubbly. 2. Add extra shredded cheese to the top of the noodles BEFORE the topping! It helps give a crispy top! 3. Use more noodles! I ran out of elbow noodles and only had a cup. I added 1/2 of egg noodles and then when it was in the water to cook, I realized that wasn't going to be nearly enough for my family of 5. So, I took a box of Mac' n' Cheese and just added the noodles. That was the perfect amount. The sauce came out perfect for that amount, somehow! DEFINATELY A KEEPER!!

My son and I love this Macaroni & Cheese. We make it on nights my husband has plans and is away from home as he isn't a big mac & cheese fan. This is creamy and delicious and my 4 year old requests it often! I always search for the best of mac & cheese and this is one of my top choices!

**** UPDATE: My hubby said he wanted a creamy macaroni instead of baked so after I mix the sauce with the macaroni noodles we don't bake it at all. My mother also loved this recipe!**** Oh this is so good I wanna cry! I followed this recipe exactly a few days ago with regular cheddar cheese and I didn't care for it. I almost passed this recipe up but I decided to give it another try using sharp cheddar cheese and it made all the difference! Wowzers it is sooooo good! I am so excited to add this to my personal cookbook and pass it down to my kids! Thank you so much!

This is a great recipe for the best kind of macaroni and cheese! Homemade is always best. I followed this recipe exactly, except I used one cup of sharp cheddar cheese and one cup of muenster cheese. I also used French-fried onions as a topping rather than bread crumbs just because the onions add a great flavor to the dish. This is a very simple and flavorful recipe that I would recommend to anybody!

We loved this recipe. I used 2 cups of milk and two cups and shredded cheddar, and skipped the crumb topping, just added more shredded cheddar. Also, try sprinkling with red pepper flakes for a little kick. Delish! Thanks for an easy recipe!

OH MY GOSH, I cannot believe this recipe has only 4 1/2 stars. It is AMAZING- best mac and cheese I have EVER had. Do the recipe exactly as it is written and you will not regret it. I have gotten compliments every time I make this, and I have made it at least 5 times in the last few months. SOOOO good.

I made this with whole wheat noodles and didn't have velveeta, so just used extra cheddar. I'm sure the recipe as written would have been amazing cause ours was good, but not creamy enough for me.

Very good & easy! As suggested by others, I increased the milk to 2 cups, the cheddar to 2 cups and the velveeta to 4 oz. I also added 1/4 c. mozzarella and used panko bread crumbs w/out the butter.

I took this to a BBQ tonight and it got rave reviews. There wasn't a bite left! I upped the amount of cheese (b/c I had some I just wanted to use up) to 1 1/2 c shredded cheddar and about 6 oz. Velveeta. I also added some crumbled turkey bacon. Delish!

This will be my go-to mac & cheese recipe. I made a few changes. I used 2 cups of dry macaroni, also instead of velveeta I used shredded parmesan. I also used crumbled saltine crackers instead of bread crumbs, mixed with about 1 Tbsp. of shredded parmesan. I finished by sprinkling a little parmesan over the top of everything before baking it. Loved this mac & cheese SO much!!! Thanks!!
