I cooked the first batch for 10 mins, and they were hard and burnt, so the next batch went in for 7 minutes. They turned out hard but only a little less burnt. Also they certainly didn't taste like my Grandma's gingersnaps, they were way too bland for my tastes.

Be careful not to overcook these! I found that if you get them out of the oven at the perfect time, they're amazing, but one minute more, and they're very hard and they carry a bit of a burnt flavor.

Unbelievably perfect!! My son & hubby, who only like sugar cookies, couldn't get enough. Brought them to every get together over the holidays it was the first empty cookie plate! Thanks!!

I made these for Christmas this year, I didn't really like them, but my mom did, so I must not be a ginger snap fan! I will give them 4 stars because she said they were good! Thanks anyways!

These had a great flavor, but after 10 minutes in the oven, they were hard as rocks. I checked after 8 minutes, and the tops were still quite soft, so I gave them another 2, and I wish I hadn't! I would recommend 7-8 minutes, and don't worry about taking them out too early.

I decided not to roll them in the sugar as my husband didn't like to crunch through the sugar. We didn't miss it and will make them this way from now on. Fantastic flavor...these cookies freeze well, if you are lucky to have extras laying around!

Mine turned out on the thick side. It was hard to determine if they were ready to come out of the oven as they are brown when you put them in so you can't go by color. I winged it and they tasted better then I expected.

these are so awesome! my freinds love these very much. they are very strong and are a good cookie for gifts. remember to space them for the full 2 inches when you bake them, and roll the ball really small. rounded tsp is good i think.
