This is a great recipe! Very easy, yummy, and lower sodium content than many other recipes on this site for baked beans (because it doesn't use a collection of canned products to create the finished product). I only give 4 stars because frankly we're talking about baked beans here. =)

I thought this was very good. I cut down on the brown sugar a little bit and I used less onions than the recipe called for. I also used canned beans with no problems. Thank you

You better like onion if you make this, the flavor of "baked beans" is just not there. This was beans and onions. We were very dissapointed. The more we ate the less we liked it. Very dissapointing since I cannot find a recipe that doesn't use canned beans!
