these cookies were easy to make and very delicious. It was my first time making chocolate chip cookies and this recipe was a winner!! They were so moist and not hard at all.

This was so easy. And they turned out so well. I used half butter, half margerine to prevent spreading and I refrigerated the dough to firm it up just a couple hours. Great cookie! EDITED MANY MONTHS LATER: I've been making these lately with instant cheesecake pudding and M&M's of any variety. (My husband likes the peanut butter, I like the dark chocolate.) With the cheesecake pudding, these are better than sex. Much better than Mrs. Fields or Tollhouse, for sure.

These cookies were great! At first i was worried because all i had was pistachio pudding mix but despite the odd greenish colour, they were delicious. My new favorite cookie recipe!

These cookies looked gorgeous (nice and puffy) and had a nice cake-like texture. Unfortunately they tasted rather bland - and the family agrees. I tried white chocolate pudding mix and french vanilla. Also tried adding 1/2 tsp salt as suggested in other reviews. Just didn't do it for me, but I'll try experimenting with some other pudding/choco chip mixes.

Thank you...finally a recipe for chocolate chip cookies that tastes great and maintains its shape while baking(doesn't flatten out). I did use only 1 1/2 sticks of butter and used white chocolate pudding mix.

I have enjoyed cooking dinners for several years but have always been intimidated by baking. A good friend makes choc. chip cookies w/ pudding mix & I was looking for a recipe similar to his. This was the 1st time I've made choc. chip cookies & I am ecstatic with the results! I suddenly have visions of baking cookies for the kids my husband & I don't even have yet! Based on reviews: I used only 1.5 sticks of butter, used the whole bag of milk chocolate chips, added 2teaspoons milk (skim) & 1/4 teaspoon of salt. And baked only 10 minutes. They taste like a trendy gourmet bakery, thank you!

Wow these were great! My husband said they were the best tasting chocolate chip cookies I have ever made. Do not change anything in this recipe, because it is perfect as written.

I haven't reviewed this yet, but I've been using this recipe for a couple of years now. This is the greatest, and so versatile. I've even used the base for peanut butter cookies, and a variety of other flavors. This is excellent.

These turned out great. I didn't quite have enough semi sweet chips so mixed in a little bit of milk chocolate. I also like to make them a bit bigger. They are soft and chewy the next day, which is what I was looking for, so thanks!

I sent some of theses cookies with my boyfriend to work and they were gone in 2.5 seconds!! they want more cookies everyday!! I made one add to this and that is a dash of cream of tarter! that helps keep the cookies soft! even if you over cook them!! love them!!

These are tasty, and they definitely grow on you. You eat the first one and wonder what the 5 stars are about, but then you find yourself going back for a 2nd and a 3rd, etc. However, I would still give this cookie a 4, given my experience with others. It's a keeper, though!

THESE COOKIES ARE CRAZY GOOD. I never thought Toll House could be improved but try this recipe and you'll never make the original again.

My husband found this recipe here and now its the only chocolate chip cookies my family will eat! The pudding makes the cookies tender and moist. I'd say it stops them from getting hard and stale, but they never last long enough even get to that point. LOVE THESE COOKIES! The recipe doubles well too, and I always bring them to get-togethers.

These cookies were the best. All of my family always asks me to make them. I have the recipe memorized by know. Did you know that they taste good putting instant chocolate pudding in them instead of vanila pudding? You should try it!
