this was really tasty! I made it for my daughter's first birthday party/bbq and it was a big hit among all the family members! I also omitted the sugar, it was plenty sweet w/ the condensed milk!

WOW! just what I've been looking for. as per others suggesting, I left out the condensed sweet milk (was just the right sweetness) added some sour cream for creaminess, was perfect! Thanks for the great recipe.

This recipe is on the sweet side but you can definitely curb that by adjusting the ingrediants if you like. You DO NOT have to double up the dressing, it makes plenty. I didn't even need to use all of the mayo. It tasted great and I really enjoyed it. I'm fairly picky when it comes to macaroni salads. Tastes best when fully chilled. Something we will make again and definitelye experiment with different veggies. Colourful and perfect for a picnic or potluck event.

Even though I eliminated the sugar, this was too sweet for our taste. I enjoy sweet things but not that much in macaroni salad.

I just finished making this macaroni salad. FANTASTIC!!!!!I can't imagine it being even better tomorrow. It looks great and taste even better. Love it! Love it! Love it! A definate keeper.

The absolute best macaroni salad on earth!! I omitted the sugar, would have been too sweet. My family can't get enough, and my father in law who doesn't like mac salad had 2 huge helpings! I recommend this one highly...

I took this to a family BBQ the first time I made it. Everyone loved it. I listened to the reviews and omitted the sugar it was sweet enough. It makes alot of salad but it went quickly:)

I omitted the sugar in this recipe and it turned out great. I think the sugar would make it too sweet. It was just perfect - the right amount of sweetness from the condensed milk!!!!!!!!!!

I made this recipe for my family this past weekend and they absolutely loved it. The one thing I did was to eliminate the sugar, we found it delectable without it. Thank you for this fabulous recipe, now I have another alternative to the one I have made for years. AWESOME!!

I love this recipe! I did not add any sugar though and plenty sweet for me. I did everything else the same except substituted cucumber and small pieces of cheese instead of peppers and celery. I'm sure it's great no matter what veggies you add.

My family all really liked this recipe. I did alter the sugar to 1/4 cup and added pimentos.I did not use all the dressing,a bit too much for me.

For us this was a 5 star ONLY if you cut out the sugar!!! When I read all the reviews the majority said that it was way to sweet so I decided to trust them and completely eliminated the sugar. Even without the sugar I thought this was still a little too sweet so I added a tablespoon of dry mustard. That did the trick for us - a little heat with the sweetness - I will make this again. All the vegatables in it was great. - Oh - this makes a lot. I had cut the recipe in half and there was still ALOT of macaroni salad.

I waas searching the net for this recipie. My ex mother-in-law made this wonderful salad, and since my divorce I have not found it. The only difference in her salad was she used a can of evaporated milk instead of condensed milk, I think this simple change makes the salad perfect. Just the right amount of sweetness *smile*

This turned out great! I took the advise of the past reviews and only added about 1/3 of the condensed milk that it called for. I also didn't add the celery because I'm not a big fan of it. Everyone loved it!

i made this salad for christmas last year, and it is by far the BEST macaroni salad i have ever eaten. everyone that tried it wanted the recipe for it! even my husband who isn't a big fan of pasta salads couldn't get enough!!

i used the stir-fry veggies, good. next time i will use half (8 oz) the pasta! the full 16 oz absorbed way too mych dressing.

I love this recipe! I have made it a number of times and almost always get rave reviews for it. I only use about 1/3 of the sweetened condensed milk though, otherwise it is too sweet. Other than that, I add my own spices. GREAT, GREAT Recipe!!!!
