These were very good pancakes and everyone around the breakfast table said that this recipe is a keeper! Warm off the griddle with butter and maple syrup, just yummy is all I can say.

Wow! I've never had pancakes this fluffy from a mix! I added a little more applesauce and I omitted cinnamon (husband and daughter are allergic), and I added a sprinkle or two of nutmeg. Really good. They taste different from regular pancakes, but not at all like you're eating a bowl of applesauce. A nice change! Thank you so much for sharing, Shirley!

Loved these served together with Blueberry Sauce also on this site. To the basic recipe, used 1 1/2 tsp of cinnamon and added another quarter cup of milk and a couple grindings of fresh nutmeg. Delicious mother's day breakfast from my son!

I just made these this morning and already have requests to make them again sometimes. After reading others reviews I used 1 1/4 cup applesauce and 1 1/2 tsp of cinnamon. It was a little thick, so I spread the batter and cooked on low for a while. Next time I may add about 1/4 cup more milk.

These seem to cook faster than regular pancakes. The apple cinnamon taste is subtle but good. Really good with sliced bananas!

Wonderful recipe! I was looking for an interesting new pancake recipe to try for Shrove Tuesday...and this was a WINNER! The texture was soft and fluffy, and the cakes had a nice, subtle sweet taste. I made them with Bisquick. I would highly recommend these pancakes!

very good. I did have to add a little more milk. I did also just have Bisquick on hand so I used that. Even my non-liking pancake husband thought these were good.

My girls love pancakes for breakfast but they don't get them very often as I hate making them probably because I'm not very good at them. Not any more this was fantastic my girls said they were the best I'd ever made. From now on they can have pancakes as often as they like. There's just a slight hint of apple taste with these and they're great with butter. Thanks.

It was really good. I followed the recipe as is except I used chunky applesauce because I love the extra burst of flavor it gives.

They are very tasty and the kids wanted them again and again. Make sure to do the sauted apples with carmel sauce to with them.

Delicious! I used Mott's cinnamon apple sauce, so I added a little less than the recipe called for (1/2 tsp). These pancakes were light, fluffy and nice change of pace!!!! Thanks for the recipe!

Nice and easy!! The pancake is light and fluffy with a little hint of apple sauce and cinnamon that doesn't overpower the overall taste. :)

My kids DEVOURED these. The only change I made was to use pumpkin pie spice in place of the cinnamon because I was out of cinnamon. I've NEVER made fluffier pancakes than the ones that I made with this recipe! I made a double batch and made silver-dollar size. I will refrigerate the leftovers and the kids can pop them in the toaster themselves tomorrow.
