Delicious!!! Used 1/2 red onion & 1 sm. shallot. Ital breadcrumbs instead of oatmeal. 2 Clov garlic instead of powder. About 1hr 1/2 b/c I had potato 1/2's in oven too... My wife said I can make it again!!! ;)

Great flavor!!! I made it into 2 loaves for more even cooking and got thumbs up from the whole family!! I also added 2 garlic cloves chopped fine for an extra kick. Thanks for sharing this awesome recipe!!

I read a review stating the mushroom and onions were raw after the meatloaf was cooked. Make sure to cut them small so they will cook with the meat. Mushrooms should be cut in half then sliced thinly and the onions cut into approximately quarter inch squares.... Just wanted to help...we have never had our mushrooms and onions turn out raw in this recipe!

My son, a friend of the family and I ate this for dinner last night. My son and I did not care for this but my friend loved it. I was skeptical of the sausage, but surprisingly, it did not overwhelm the meatloaf. What I did not like was the raw onion and the raw mushrooms. I think I like them more pre-cooked. I did not think that the bacon did anything for it. So, my friend has taken the meatloaf home and thanks you very kindly.

It was a wonderful and easy to make meatloaf. I tend to like kethcup more, but I was very impressed with this one. I put the barbecue sauce bottle and the kethcup bottle on the table when I served it so that we could add what we wanted on top of it though.

Verry good, easy to prepare,didn't have fresh mushrooms so I used canned and just used whatever shredded cheese I had around
