I've made these twice now...both times I took them out of the crockpot after they cooked a while and place them on a foil lined, lightly sprayed cookie sheet, brushed them with the sauce from the crockpot and put them in the oven to crisp up a little. The second time, they weren't quite done cooking when I placed them in the oven, so they didn't fall apart quite so easily while eating them. My very picky 13 yr. old son loves them and asks for them all the time. I don't use chili sauce as my base, but Sweet Baby Ray's barbeque sauce...still comes out great! A 4 lb. pkg. of wings will cook in this sauce in 3-4 hours in a crockpot on high. Very tender and flavorful...I'll be making these wings often.

Very good a flavorful. I love that they fall off the bone but it make them very messy. Will make again. I used the entire wing and did not cut htem at all.
