Ground beef is mixed a few spices and formed into patties that are breaded and fried. I'm not sure where my mom got this recipe, but she used to make it at least once a month. Although she never served it with gravy, I think peppered gravy would go great with this.

Tofu Jerky I

A simple rub made with garlic powder, salt, and pepper marinates the tofu for two days before the tofu is slowly baking in the oven to make tofu jerky.

Chicken flavored seitan that can be used in any recipe as a meat replacement. Very versatile, you can bread this and fry it to be served as cutlets or nuggets, or chopped in salads. Add beef bouillon to the broth if you like, and definitely experiment with your favorite seasonings. Enjoy!

Tofu Burgers

This recipe uses tofu that has been frozen for 72 hours and then quickly defrosted. Onion, celery and cheese make these burgers delicious. This is a family favorite at the Silverwolfs' den. Serve in place of meat as a main entree or place on a bun along with your favorite toppings: lettuce, onion, tomato, mayo, etc. These burgers can also be baked in an oven preheated at 350 degrees for 30 minutes rather than frying.
