Chopped cranberries, raisins, sugar, a bit of flour, water and vanilla are tossed together, spooned into a bottom crust, topped with a round of pastry, and baked. This classic pie is perfect with a scoop of rum raisin ice cream.

Who would have thought? Blueberries and cherries in the same pie. But they 're divine together. You 'll have to pit the cherries, but it should be a labor of love. The berries are sugared, dusted with flour and cinnamon, and dotted with butter. The oven takes care of the rest.

For this simple, slightly piquant pie, ground cherries bake up wonderfully with sugar and spices and doused with fresh lemon juice. Look for these gems at your favorite farmers market and bake up a pie or two.

This is my favorite recipe to make for the holidays. It tastes too good to be this easy. If you don't make your own dough, simply use dough mix or refrigerated crusts - it will taste just as delicious.

The apples in this pie are Ritz crackers. They 're arranged in the bottom of a pie shell, and topped with a lemony sweet syrup with bits of butter and cinnamon. The top crust is popped on and the pie baked until golden.

Soda crackers masquerade as apples in this tasty pie. The crackers are broken into pieces and piled into an unbaked pie shell. A sweet hot syrup is poured on top, the second crust is added, and the pie is popped into the oven to bake.

Sweet, thick and full of cherries, this pie is irresistible. The filling is whipped up from a classic combination of canned cherry pie filling, sugar, flour and almond flavoring.
