Very festive recipe for the holidays or anytime. Rich and wonderful. One of my faves. Don't let the caviar fool you. You can buy at grocery store for under $10.00. (but don't let the guests know!). Serve with flat bread, crackers, or toast points.

Here's a spicy Texas favorite. Black-eyed peas and black beans are marinated in a fiery, flavorful mixture. This is great with tortilla chips or bread -- and plenty of cold iced tea!

If you want easy and caviar, this is it. Just cream cheese with caviar. I don't really know what it is about this very simple recipe, but everyone who likes caviar loves this spread.

Don't bother with soaking and cooking beans for Classic Texas Caviar - the canned variety works well. But skip the bottled dressing, and take a little extra time to measure your own vinegar, oil and spices.

Mock Chopped Liver

Mock chopped liver in this recipe is made out of lentils. This dish tastes just like the real thing without the cholesterol of real liver! Serve mounded on a platter with crackers.

Much less expensive and much less time-consuming than it looks. You can buy a small jar of caviar in the canned-fish section of your supermarket for about 5 dollars. This will wow everyone at your next gathering.
