INGREDIENTS
4 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
1 cup butter (no substitutes)
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped walnuts
MOCHA FROSTING:
4 cups confectioners' sugar
1/2 cup butter (no substitutes), melted
1/3 cup baking cocoa
1/4 cup strong brewed coffee
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

DIRECTIONS
In a saucepan over low heat, melt the chocolate and butter; stir until smooth. Remove from the heat. Add sugar and mix well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Stir in vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder and salt; add to the chocolate mixture just until combined. Stir in walnuts.
Pour into a greased 13-in. x 9-in.x 2-in. baking pan. Bake at 375 degrees F for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
Combine frosting ingredients in a bowl; mix well. Spread over brownies.

Wow, this recipe is now officially my favourite :-) It was a very rich and tasty cake, and the mocha frosting is chimeric. I brought it at school and everybody loved it. Yummie ^^

Delicious! Soft but not too sticky, very rich- I served them with vanilla ice cream. Also very fast and easy.. This is my new favorite brownie recipe!
