Lemon-lime soda gives this rich beverage a delicate flavor. Even people who don't care for eggnog won't be able to resist a creamy glassful. It's a hit at our Christmas parties. --Lorrie Sexauer, DeSoto, Texas

You will enjoy this Christmas beverage because you can change the flavor of ice cream to what ever you like or leave out the peppermint candies without any adverse results. Peppermint ice cream can be substituted for vanilla.

Eggnog Bread

I got this recipe from an old friend. It combines two holiday favorites-- eggnog and fruit-and-nut bread. My children look forward to me making it each Christmas, plus I give loaves as gifts to my co-workers.
