well, these were okay, but they came out a little dry and I had to add a lot more coffee before I could taste it. probably only a one time deal

I added in extra coffee per other reviews. I didn't have any chocolate, but I think they are needed. Great muffins, but my lack of sweets in the pantry made a difference. Next time chocolate or nuts will be added.

I like to consider myself a muffin master, but these are the best I've ever made. I bake 2 batches a week- some to mail to friends and the rest for my family. Instant espresso creates an especially delicious mocha flavor!!!

These are very yummy -- I used oil instead of butter and only used 1/2 cup, also cut back on the sugar. I used instant espresso powder and got a nice coffee flavor. My kids (and I) love these!

These are really yummy chocolate-banana muffins but don't let the 'mocha' part get you too excited. There was no coffee flavor in these moist treats. These are really yummy despite the misleading title. Give them a try!

Awesome. There were delicious and moist. They disappeared so quickly. I read the other reviews and then made the following changes: 1/2 the butter, 3/4 cup of sugar (into which I subbed a little brown sugar) and doubled the amount of instant coffee. The mocha was subtle but you could taste it. I also used half whole wheat flour and half regular. I thought these were just right. Best muffin recipe I've found - they are my "go to" now.

Yummy. I added fresh brewed coffee instead of instant, decreased sugar and butter, and used mini choc. chips. The flavor is extremely subtle. These are the best muffins I have made. They would be great w/o the chocolate chips. This is now the only recipe I will be using!

The muffins tasted very good and were easy to make. Hardly any mocha flavor though and I double the amount listed in the recipe per other reviews. That was a disappointment. Otherwise, lowered the butter and sugar a bit per other reviews as well and they were still very moist and tasty. Good muffins, just don't get excited about the "mocha" listed in the title.

The only reason I did not give these delicious muffins five stars is because I thought they needed more coffee flavor. I halfed the butter and used walnuts instead of chocolate chips and they were amazing.

Mmmm... very nice. I added 3 tablespoons of coffee instead of 1, which gave it a nice subtle coffee flavor. Instead of three bananas, I used two, which turned out to be perfect. I also greatly reduced the sugar. The day after, I stuck it in the microwave on HIGH for 20 seconds which melted the chocolate chips and made it taste like it just came out of the oven. I brought it to my friends who absolutely ADORED them. Thanks for the recipe!

The only change I made was I added 2TBSP of International Coffee Cafe Veinna. Next time I will add more because I couldn't taste the coffee. Otherwise, these muffins were excellent and I will be making them again for sure!! Thank you!

Good, but not spectacular, it's hard to taste the banana when it's all ground. I would certainly reduce the oil to half a cup and use 1/4 - 1/2 cup less sugar. More is just not necessary.

Excellent muffins if you decrease the butter/margarine by half, and only use 3/4 c. sugar. I also only used 2 bananas and they were perfect! My kids LOVE them!

I liked this a lot. i cut down a little on the butter and sugar and trippled the amount of coffee powder. also I added chopped walnuts instead of the chocolate chips which was very tasty and made them less sweet.
