These brownies are a winning recipe from the Pilsbury Bake Off. They are great. A little bit more work than the regular boxed mix. But I loved how it started out with a box mix and doctored them up.

This recipe is a bit weird. I'm not sure if it is written wrong or if I just don't get it. The filling is put on top and just sort of soaks in. The chocolate chips from the filling were resting on top after baking so I didn't feel the need to put on the icing. The flavor was good and the brownies were very moist. There was not very much mocha flavor, I'm sure the mocha flavor would have been stronger if I had used the icing, but I didn't want all the added sweetness of even more chocolate chips on top. I'm not sure if I will make it again or look for another recipe.
