Yummy...made these today and my two boys - 4 & 6 helped (make and eat that is)! I only had an 8x8 pan, left out the walnuts (don't really care for them) and used only half the oil as I replaced with 1/3c unsw applesauce. I also reduced the sugar to 3/4 cup and increased the cocoa to 1/2 cup and they cooked perfectly in 20 mins. Nice and moist and chocolately. I personally found them to have a cake like consistency compared to fudgey like, and I will try a couple other recipes as I am looking for something more 'dense', but these were defintitely great!

I LOVED THIS RECIPE!!! it took less than 30 minutes to make, start to finish! My entire family ate it all in like 2 though. It's amazing for a snack any time and it officially belongs in my scrap book of favorite recipe!

These brownies were very good for "homemade". I used the butter instead of the oil and omitted the nuts. They were extremely rich and gooey. But in my opinion still weren't as flavorful as some boxed brand brownies.

I made these just now and they are in the oven as I write, I doubled the recipe and I did lick the spoon:) The spoon taste test tasted like the store bought without the added chemicals that in the box mixes. It was indeed yummy and I know these will be a hit with my family and friends. I have also added some milk, cut the oil back by half and add a half cup of milk. Yummy. May have to increase flour a tad not sure. But, I do not think I did.

I'm usually really liberal with my ratings, this is the lowest I've ever given out. I followed the recipe to the letter, didn't over-cook it; the brownies turned out unremarkable and not chewy at all. Pretty disappointing since I used my precious butter to make them, it's really expensive here.

This was a fantastic recipe. The brownies turned out moist, yet they were still fluffy. I used all-purpose flour and left out the baking soda. I also used broken pieces of Dove dark chocolate and sprinkled it on top. This adds an extra chocolatey taste! I didn't use any nuts because I did not have any. I will make this for all holidays, since all the kids LOVE brownies.

Thought these were quick and easy and tasted very good. I used the butter instead of oil and a little less than a cup of sugar. I put a handful of walnuts in the batter. (maybe a little less than a 1/4th a cup.) I'm not a big fan of nuts in my brownies, but they really added something. Topped off with powdered sugar. They were yummy. Just not enough of them!

We LOOOVE these brownies! I added a little more cocoa powder (used Hershey's Special Dark) and some semi-sweet chocolate chips. Ooooh yeaaa.

My step-daughter made this recipe because she said the one I had had was too rich. The recipe is identical except this one uses oil rather than butter. I thought they were not quite as good, but then again I am a butter fanatic! She thought they tasted like the ones from the box.

These were great! I made some tonight and I added some coconut on the top about halfway through. It was pretty amazing lol. It was lightly toasted and added great flavor. I'd suggest trying it sometime. :) Great recipe.

Taste was good, but did not cook evenly. They were very greasy after cooking for the suggested time. Cooking longer would lead to crispy edges.
