Fantastic! I always double and use a 9x13 pan but I only put in 1 1/2 cups of sugar. I have made these countless times and they are great!

They are really chewy and fudy brownies! The thing I like best is that you don't need chocolate chips(I always run out when I feel like baking brownies =D)! Another thing is that all my experiences with brownie making have never turned out very well(some were too cakey some would bake they stayed watery, and some were just plain gross) but when i made this recipe, my whole family ate them right up and some of them don't like anything chocolatey but they really enjoyey this recipe! The reason I gave it 4 stars is that it needed a little kick of something... I don't really know what but I'm going to try it with some chocolate chips. You don't really get 16 pieces of the brownie and it fits in a 8x8 pan. Overall these brownies are great1 I am definatly going to use this recipe again!

I followed the recipe directions exactly and the brownies came out perfectly. The next time I make them though I think I will try using a smaller pan so they come out a little thicker.

Great recipe. A much smaller pan is recommended to get a better brownie texture.

The best brownies I've ever had! I tried the 1 c white and 1 c brown sugar just to cut down a bit. I also added 3/4 c of walnuts and 1/2 c white chocolate chips. Next time I might go for the full 3 c of sugar cause I'll know they will be killer!. Thanks!

These were dry and not chocolaty enough for me. I didn't read the reviews before hand, so I used the oil instead of butter and maybe that was my mistake.

Wonderfully delicious, especially straight from the oven. I gave it 4 stars because the next day they were hard as a rock and although in a microwave they did come back to its softness I felt that it should have remained soft with a less than 24 hour window.

These brownies turned out delicious! I am a brownie lover, and so far, these are the best brownies I have ever tasted...I will never go back to the boxed version again. This recipe was simple, easy to do, time efficient, and tasted great. Will definitely do again and again! I have done these brownies twice; the first time with melted butter, and the second time with oil. Although they turned out good, I will never make with oil again....the melted butter made it so much more richer and softer.

I used a whole stick of melted butter in place of oil, as suggested. So. Friggin. Good. My husband, 3 year old son and I polished off the pan in less than a day.

Well I made these today, the 9x9 version. I did replace the oil with butter as suggested. These are wonderful. I will make them again. I'm a big brownie buff and these are at the top of my list!!

These were really good and super moist! The only changes I made was using wheat instead of white flour, grapeseed instead of vegetable oil and I added a splash of Kahlua to the batter. Fantastic!

the flavor was great on these, but I was disappointed that they came out so "flat" they didnt seem to fluff up. The texture was more cake like than brownie but delicious. Thank you for sharing.

I faithfully followed the recipe for these brownies except that I used an 8x8" pan because I don't have a larger one. The flavor and texture is great. I rated this a bit lower only because they turned out very thin despite using a smaller pan. Other than that minor disappointment, these turned out really well. I will bake them again but will double the recipe.

These are the best brownies ever. I always add some chocolate chips to my boxed brownies, so I did the same on this one, just 1/4 bag of semi-sweet choc chips. The rest of the recipe was made exactly like it said. What I loved about these, is the top was a little crisp & the choc chips had settled on the bottom so the bottom was VERY moist. These were so amazing that I can't make them too often, I want to eat the whole pan & so do my kids & their friends! The only other thing I did, was double the recipe as others had said & placed it in a 9X13 pan & cooked for about 35 minutes on same degree! YUMM!

These brownies were, as people said, DELICIOUS! I don't like brownies to be too rich and strong in chocolate flavor, so I slightly cut back on the cocoa powder. After reading some of the comments, I substituted melted butter instead of oil. They came out a little too buttery and moist for my taste. Next time I will make exactly as the recipe calls for. Everyone should try these, they are not too chocolatey at all, but they are completely moist and delicious!
