Shallot is sauteed in butter and simmered in a sauce with whiskey and mustard. A very nice sauce that goes well with lamb and roasted potatoes.

Pepe Vandel's Spaghetti Sauce

Submitted by: Kathy Decelles
This recipe was brought back from Italy by my husband's grandfather. It is a family favorite! For sauce with meatballs, shape 6 pounds ground beef into balls. After sauce has simmered, place meatballs in sauce and simmer for additional 4 to 5 hours. Stir occasionally.

Bearnaise Sauce II

This deliciously creamy herb sauce is so simple to make using a microwave, but if you do not have one, place your bowl over a pan of simmering water to heat it gently. Excellent German recipe for Bernaise sauce. Great on steaks, chicken, vegetables and fish.

Cilantro, mint and a hint of spice make this a magnificent chutney that would go great with lamb. I had searched everywhere for this recipe. The stars aligned one day and I not only found a fabulous house to rent, but a landlord who knew how to make Mint Chutney! This is Roselyn's recipe.

Basil Cream Sauce

After a mad search on the net for a recipe for this sauce I had to create my own. This can be reheated in the microwave without the usual cream sauce defects. I just love the light green color and how well it displays over tri color or regular pasta, salmon and grilled chicken. I have been putting this on everything.
