This was so simple, but so good! I followed some other reviews, using an oreo crust, frosting with a layer of cool whip (after ice cream had set up for a couple hours), and adding crushed andes mints on top. It was a huge hit at our Christmas party and I will definitely be making it again!

I make this pie anytime I need a quick, no fuss dessert. To give it a more professional look, I press the ice cream flat under a layer of plastic wrap, freeze it until firm, and then "frost" it with a layer of Cool Whip. I then decorate with a spiral of chocolate syrup and drag a knife through it to give a rippled appearance. It looks pretty impressive for being as easy as it is.

This was average dessert. I did it with layers of Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream, Cool Whip, and Hershy's Chocolate Syrup. It was very easy and didn't take long, but it would have been just as satisfying to put cool whip on a bowl of ice cream.

This is so good. Winger's has our favorite dessert and this is just like it. We like to put caramel syrup and cool whip on ours!

I just did a run through of this recipe b/c im going to make it for a dinner party next week. I softened & mixed 4 mint slice cornetto's, 2tbs of choc icecream and 2tbs vanilla bean icecream. I crushed up some mint slice cookies and mixed them through. I then whipped some cream and folded that into the mixture. I made my own choc pastry and then sprinkled some crushed cookie pieces on top and placed in the freezer. I will serve with hot fudge sauce. Quick. Easy. Most importantly, VERY indulgent :)

very yummy and, of course, easy. I used an Oreo store-bought crust and a carton of mint from Safeway. One pie was plenty for 5 with leftovers. I added puffs of whip cream and sliced almonds.

Did not expect too much, but made it because I did not have time for a more involved dessert. I did make my own crust because I wanted to use my own pie plate and I did add thawed Cool Whip before freezing as suggested by another reviewer. It was amazingly good and my company just loved it and asked for the recipe. Will definitely make this again! I can see the possibilities for different ice cream flavors, but the mint is so refreshing. Can't wait to try it when Peppermint Stick Ice Cream is in our stores at holiday time.

EASY!! I added about a 1/2 container of cool whip to give it more "fluff" and put it into a oreo crust. Served it with a mound of redi-whip and hersheys syrup, excellent!! thanks for sharing!
