This was fantastic! I made it exactly as is. I used rotisserie chicken and Major Grey chutney and sprinkled the cashews on top in a big, clear glass bowl. I should have taken the photo then because it was so beautiful, but I had already started eating mine when I remembered I wanted to take a picture (took it anyway!) I served it on a bed of lettuce for me & 4 friends. Everyone had seconds! This is a fantastic luncheon dish because you can make it ahead of time. Thanks so much Mary for a great recipe!

We thought this was excellent....i had been looking for a wild rice salad recipe...i used black seedless grapes and toasted walnuts...oh, and i chopped up some scallions....made my own chutney because i mistakenly bought the hot mango and didn't care for it....dukes reduced fat mayo and this is out of the ballpark!!...oh, and i used lundberg's wild/brown rice mix....followed directions on pkg and then added everything else...awesome!.....thanks so much for posting the recipe...a def keeper!

I brought this to a party and it was quite popular - I am also from MN so wild rice is plentiful! I used less chicken and less celery (only because I did not buy enough) and it was great. I used homemade gingered cranberry chutney which worked well. Make sure to rinse the wild rice well before cooking and you only need 3.5 cups of water to boil it in. Next time I will substitute plain nonfat yogurt for some of the mayonnaise just to try something different. This recipe has lots of great flavors and a pretty presentation!

I too brought this recipe from Minnesota. It is a favorite of my family & friends. I have made it without the chicken & served it as a side with grilled meat. Nice for a cookout
