Mimi's Giant Whole-Wheat Banana-Strawberry Muffins Recipe Reviews - Allrecipes.com (Pg. 6)

Great muffin. I used a cup of fresh strawberries chopped into pieces instead of the frozen sliced. I also added in a handful of wheat germ and 1/4 cup of light sour cream. My kids loved them and they are healthy...what more could you ask for?

Surprisingly moist for a whole-wheat muffin. Not too sweet, so it's perfect for a breakfast muffin. I reduced the cinnamon to 2 tsp. and I thought that was enough cinnamon flavor.

These were really good. I liked the flavor combination. I used fresh strawberries and they got a bit mushy after sitting, but they still tasted great.

These muffins were perfect!! I didn't have any vanilla in the house, so I used almond extract. This will be a regular at our house!

These were really wonderful. I followed the recipe exactly except I used fresh strawberries, as I was overrun with them. Kids loved them and I loved that I was using up ingredients that were ready to spoil and making a relatively healthy snack for the kids, too! I'll make this one again and again!

I followed this recipe with a couple small adjustments. I only put 1/2 TBS of cin., I added 1/4 cup oats and put n a little extra applesauce to keep moist. They were not that great. I won't try making these again

These are good, but I think I will try chopping up my strawberries next time rather than slicing them. Or I may just try blueberries as other reviewers have said.
