My family loved this pie last year! I am so glad I kept it and can't wait to use it again this year!

Delicious. I did find it a bit runny so I added another cup of pecans and I had to cook it about 15 minutes longer to set. Make sure you use tin foil as suggested in the recipe or your crust will burn. Very yummy! Big hit!

Great pie! I made 2.... They came out perfect!! I used karo syrup and frozen shells. The only change I made was I used 3 tablespoons butter instead of 4, a cup and a half of pecans instead of 1, and I substituted milk choc baking squares for the choc chips. Melted the butter and squares together and added to egg mixture. They set up perfectly and came out clean for the suggested baking time. Very Yummy pie!!!!

I made 8 pies for Thanksgiving this year, as I couldn't make up my mind which one everyone would like! This was a favorite by far, and my daughter said I need to make it every year now! It was simple to make and not over-chocolatey...the combination of chocolate and pecans was wonderful! I used 3 milke chocolate bars as that's all I had on hand and it turned out awesome! Thank you!

This pecan pie was not to my liking. Not what I was expecting at all. Did not even bake right. It got a very hard crust on the top of it (crystalized) and I followed the directions to a T.

I cut the sugar by half and add a few more pecans. Very yummy. It's Thanksgiving Eve and I'm heading to the kitchen right now to bake a couple of them.

This was the best pecan pie ever!! I love pecan pie, but this was great. I did't put the tinfoil over it like it says though, bc I like my crust dark. It turned out way better than I imagined, and was so easy!

I've been making this pie for years. It is the absolute best. I can't wait each thanksgiving/Christmas to make it. It's a special treat. I always melt the chocolate and butter together in the microwave first and add to the eggs. Then whisk in the corn syrup to keep from cooking the eggs. I highly recommend melting the chocolate.
