This recipe is certainly one of the best I have found on AllRecipes!! The sauce was wonderful!! I used organic local beef for the meat. The meat could have been more tender, but that is somewhat the nature of shredded chuck. I will definitely make this again. Thank you.

I was disappointed with this recipe. It was missing something for my tastes. It would have been easier to just add a good bottle of BBQ sauce. That said, my 9 yo daughter loved it. I will probably try another recipe for my $12 roast next time.

Our family of 6 enjoyed this. The sauce is good, not overwhelming. I didn't return the veggies to the sauce after skimming the fat, and didn't add the salt. No way would this serve 12, more like 6 adults. Great with coleslaw as a side or on the bun.
