I just finished making this recipe, and find the consistency to be great, but the flavor is a bit bland. I followed the recipe exactly, except that I reduced the cooking times by about half because my microwave is more powerful than 850 watts. I think next time I'll try using chicken stock instead of water, and experiment with some additional herbs/spices.

EXCELLENT and simple. I added some leftover chicken breast and used the leaves off a stalk of celery and no one complained. Plus, cleanup was a breeze. It don't get no better. Yes, it does. I mashed the veggies with a potato masher while the flour and butter were nuking to make it thicker because I was supposed to bring a big bowl of dip for a family reunion. It was a hit in that capacity, too.
